http://bighig.smugmug.com/Still Life/ I have been taking photos for years, with a particular interest in natural lighting on interesting people as well as still life such as vegetables and fruits; even food from my kitchen. There is something magical that happens with the right combination of subject, light and shadow that captures the imagination and reveals a different mood to each viewer. I take photos of the elderly, newborns, families, high school seniors, brides and weddings. Each has a place in my heart because each have families and friends who want to see the person or family as they personally know them.
